As you arrive, expect to be briefly greeted by both chefs – Alvin Pack of Green Creek Winery & Marilyn Doheny of Melrose Inn. They have teamed up to provide a spectacular culinary extravaganza. They will be attired for a gala evening, wearing a tuxedo and gown respectively as they greet you and serve champagne.
Plan to socialize with other guests during the appetizer courses featuring Smoked Salmon Cornets and Countreau marinated melon wrapped proscutto.
Once seated, a Cream Cheese bouche followed by an Arugula pear salad with heart beets and parmesan melt will be served.
Followed by a very clever “rabbit & turtle” arrangement – featuring shrimp, crab, lemon and green goddess dressing – designed for pleasure and culinary entertainment.
Next is a lovely taste bud wake up of “world famous”, Gilroy Garlic Soup with cheesy toast point.
A pallet clearing Strawberry Chardonnay Sorbet sets the stage for your entrée.
A hand cut and trimmed petite fillet mignon nestled in a portabello mushroom cap topped with Cabernet sauvignon reduction. Side delights include carved potatoes and asparagus bundles with toasted almonds
A heart shaped chardonnay walnut cake topped with chocolate merlot ice cream and homemade fudge finish the evening!
5 wines will be served – paired with the diverse courses. Champagne, chardonnay, maderia, merlot and Riesling.
This fabulous dinner is priced at $60 per person which includes the wine pairings, tax and gratuity.
